This can be a very happy event of celebrating with friends and family but for pets, this specific day can be detrimental. And so many pets escape their backyards, escape from their tethered leashes and they run. They run like a bull. And some of those dogs are never seen again. Some are well….killed by cars. And those that are lucky to be rescued or find their way back home, they are now forever traumatized. 

Let’s make this 2022 4th of July an amazing one for everypawdy that is involved in your family. Please:

1) Keep your pets indoors

2) Put the radio or tv on to help drown out the loud booms of the night celebrations

4) Lastly, be kind and know your pet relies on your for their safety and comfort. Don’t forget about them and prioritizing their needs along with yours.
